Body Mechanix turns 9 this month!
Yesterday marked 9 years since I opened Body Mechanix Massage. WHAT!?! How in the world did that happen? (Am I getting old?) I know it doesn’t seem to warrant such a giant post but for some reason this year feels pivotal to me, so why not. I feel so lucky and incredibly blessed to be able to do what I do everyday. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me over the years, I’m pretty sure all this could not have been possible without you. There are a few people that I would like to thank in particular. First, all of my amazing clients and the clients that come in that I don’t get to meet personally. It’s an honor to be able to work on your bodies to try and bring more balance and wellness to you.
Another wonderful group of people that deserves a shoutout is Colin McGarty and all of the Seacoast Kettlebell family. You guys have been amazing over the years. It’s been so great to work together. I’m always impressed by your accomplishments and love seeing you grow. Thank you for believing in me and my work and thank you for all the inspiration.
I’d also like to mention the amazing McCracken team from In Motion Chiropractic. You have been wonderful colleagues, friends and now family for over 10 years. I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am to share the Portsmouth space with you. Thank you for all of the early day referrals and cheers to many more years of collaboration and healing.
Another fantastic fellow in my life is the man, the legend, PJ Strebel- what an incredible personal trainer out of Seacoast Sports Clubs! Thank you so much for being the catalyst in bringing Body Mechanix to Portsmouth. You are always so supportive and I appreciate it greatly. Thank you for all of the referrals! I am pumped to work in the same gym and community as you. You’re just a great and talented person, my friend.
Last, but but definitely not least: my wonderful teammates, Rebecca, Miriam, Heather and Ginny. I COULD NOT do this without you wonderful women. I feel totally blessed to work along side all of you. Your commitment to the work is incredible and inspiring. You all work so hard and I’m very grateful for each of you. I am happy to share this journey with you and am looking forward to seeing all the growth in all of us throughout the years. Love you all!
There has been plenty of change that has taken place in the last 2 years, heck, the past 9 years! It’s all part of the journey, but I am really excited to be settling into our Portsmouth location. These next few years will be spent honing in on our client experience and continuing to consistently educate ourselves to be sure we are delivering the best bodywork on the Seacoast. We look forward to continuing our work with our loyal clients and the Portsmouth and Dover communities!
Growth. Strength. Peace.
