Amanda received her education at Kaplan University in sunny San Diego, CA. Her time spent out west consisted of meeting new people, enjoying the waves, and discovering her career path. She first began working with athletes and injuries in Carlsbad, CA directly out of school. There, her passion for working in the athletic community quickly grew.
After lending her skills at many race and group events, Amanda began working at the Titleist training facility where she helped many professional golfers. As difficult as it was to leave California, she missed her family and decided to return to New Hampshire in 2005, settling in the Seacoast area.
Upon her return, Amanda began working alongside a chiropractor in the area and gained a vast amount of knowledge in helping people with injuries. In 2008, Amanda decided to open her own business where she could practice her love for helping athletes and anyone looking to better their health through massage therapy services.
After falling in love with Dover’s wonderful community, Amanda felt it was the best place to open Body Mechanix Massage. It’s Amanda’s goal to help people discover the strength within their own body and to become proactive in keeping it healthy.
In 2016, she expanded by bringing Body Mechanix Massage to Portsmouth. She spent just over three years at the Seacoast Sports Club West and is now at The Center For Wellbeing at 3201 Lafayette Road.
It is incredible being part of the Dover and Portsmouth communities, both of which are brimming with dedicated athletes and people looking to optimize their health.
Amanda continues to put education and advancement in her field at the forefront, she loves to learn! To follow some of her adventures check out the blog.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her children, Izzie and Gracelyn. She enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and staying as active as possible.
