Amanda Stevens, LMT

Amanda graduated from Seacoast Career School in 2016 after spending 15 years in the medical field. Her background in medicine, combined with a passion for therapeutic bodywork, gives her a unique perspective on helping clients reduce pain, improve function, and support the body’s natural healing process. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Amanda is continually expanding her knowledge and refining her skills to provide the highest level of care.

Amanda believes that true wellness comes from treating the body as an interconnected system, taking an integrative approach that supports both physical and mental well-being. Every session is thoughtfully tailored to the individual, combining focused therapeutic bodywork with detailed techniques to relieve tension, reduce pain, restore movement, and encourage deep relaxation.
Recognizing that no two bodies are alike, Amanda customizes each treatment to meet her clients’ unique needs. She incorporates a blend of therapeutic modalities, including passive stretching, soft tissue tools, cupping, Graston Technique, kinesiology taping, breathwork, movement-based therapy, hot towels, and heat therapy when appropriate.

Amanda has a special interest in working with clients preparing for or recovering from surgery, drawing from her years of medical and surgical experience to support healing and recovery. As someone who personally struggled with chronic migraines, she has also dedicated extensive study to helping clients experiencing headaches, migraines, TMJ dysfunction, jaw tension, cervical spine restrictions, and sinus pressure.

Amanda provides compassionate prenatal and postpartum massage, offering thoughtful, individualized care that supports mothers through the many changes their bodies experience during pregnancy and beyond. As a mother of four herself, she understands the importance of creating a safe, nurturing space where each client feels supported, respected, and cared for. Her approach is tailored to the unique needs of each mother, helping ease common discomforts, reduce stress, and promote relaxation and overall well-being throughout the journey of motherhood.

In 2023, Amanda began her education in Craniosacral Therapy through CST Alliance, studying under Don Ash, CSTA-PA-I, whose lineage traces directly to both William Sutherland and John Upledger. She has immersed herself in this gentle yet powerful modality and continues advanced training as she works toward becoming a New Hampshire Certified Craniosacral Therapy Practitioner. Amanda enjoys working with infants, children, and adults, helping clients find balance within their nervous system and supporting the body’s innate ability to heal.

Amanda especially enjoys working with the pelvis, skull, shoulders, knees, hands, and feet—areas that often have a profound impact on overall movement, comfort, and function. Her ultimate goal is to help clients move with greater ease, reduce or eliminate discomfort, and return to the activities they love feeling stronger, more balanced, and more comfortable in their bodies.

Outside the treatment room, Amanda lives in Wolfeboro with her husband and their four children. She is an avid reader, writer, and lifelong learner with a love for plants, gardening, and homesteading. Whether she’s tending to her ever-growing collection of houseplants, preserving food from the garden, baking fresh bread, or spending time with her family, Amanda finds joy in slowing down, creating with her hands, and embracing the simple rhythms of everyday life.
