Thai bodywork combines dynamic-assisted stretching influenced by yoga with pressure along energy lines akin to Chinese acupuncture and Ayurveda. It aims to balance energy flow and circulation, utilizing techniques from Thai traditional medicine.
During a session, you remain fully clothed in loose-fitting attire. The active nature of Thai massage facilitates muscle lengthening, fascia spreading, tension relief, and relaxation. Its benefits include alleviating headaches, reducing pain, enhancing flexibility, and promoting better sleep and digestion, leaving you feeling refreshed and stabilized.
This therapeutic treatment balances the body following the concepts of traditional Thai bodywork and addresses the spine, shoulders, hips, neck, and feet. Lighter pressure is used to address sen energy lines in the face, arms, hands, abdomen, and legs. Traditionally, these sessions are provided using a large mat or cushion on the floor. However, our sessions will use a very low-seated massage table that is adjustable in height. Our sessions can be designed and modified for your specific needs.
