Lenny recently completed the Massage Therapy Program at The New England Institute of Whole Health. He is excited to be a part of the Body Mechanix Massage family.
With a history in athletics, Lenny has a keen personal approach and perspective. Through his training and background he actively uses methods designed to increase range of motion, flexibility and resiliency. Lenny aspires to educate and learn with his clients for he feels being a lifelong student of mind, body, and spirit is the way to go. Lenny simply wants to be a part of that process whether it is in guidance, relaxation, a road to recovery, or a mission for maintenance and longevity.
Lenny’s exciting background on wheels, through windows, and up walls has given him many directions in which he may take his journey as a therapist. Lenny was a Roller and Inline speed skater for 30 years and an integral player in that industry for 20 years. He also served as a Women’s Roller Derby coach for a World Champion team for a decade. He has spent countless hours perfecting his craft in skateparks around the world. Twelve screws, two plates, a few broken ribs, dislocations, clavicle breaks, a few near death calls, and trauma from surviving a fire; Lenny couldn’t be more thankful for every bump and bruise that has led him to Body Mechanix Massage to pay it forward.
Lenny is originally from Des Moines, Iowa and left college to pursue a skating career in Oregon. Oregon was his home, which he loved, for 26 years. Following his time there, he spent a few years in Florida and then moved to New England. Lenny enjoys hiking, skating, gardening, pottery and exploring all that New England has to offer.
