Amanda graduated from the Seacoast Career School in December of 2016 after 15 years in the medical field. She was thrilled with her knowledge and ability to help people improve their bodies and health in a therapeutic way.
In 2017, she opened her own practice, but like many, she experienced the hardship and challenge brought on by the pandemic.
Amanda is excited to be back in the field as part of a collective team helping folks heal their bodies. She has a passion for education and is motivated to continually grow and advance her massage therapy skills.
Outside of the massage therapy world, Amanda is the mother to four beautiful children. She loves reading and has a crazy collection of books and plants that titters the line of hoarding. She has an old homesteading soul and adores gardening and making everything from scratch, the way her grandmothers did.

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronic aches and pains and contracted areas such as stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders
Sports Massage:
Sports massage therapy is geared toward athletes of every kind, from world-class professionals to weekend joggers. The particulars of the sports massage technique are specific to the athlete’s sport of choice. Focusing on areas of the body that are overused and stressed from repetitive and often aggressive movements.
Pre and Post Natal:
Massage therapy during and after pregnancy is a wonderful complementary choice for prenatal and postnatal care. It is a healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness. Massage relieves many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and edema (or swelling). Postpartum massage has many benefits bringing both physical and emotional relief to new moms.
In addition, massage for pregnant women reduces stress on weight-bearing joints, encourages blood and lymph circulation, helps to relax nervous tension — which aids in better sleep — and can help relieve depression or anxiety caused by hormonal changes.
Relaxation:
Swedish massage therapy is the modality that comes to mind when most people think about massage. As the best-known type of bodywork performed today, one of the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body. This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. Swedish massage therapy goes beyond relaxation. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.
