Sandy graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1997 with a Bachelors in Environmental Conservation Affairs. With an innate passion to learn, matched with a love for working with people she was drawn to the field of Esthetics when she learned how to transform her own skin for her wedding shortly after graduating college.
For over 23 years Sandy has followed the path of healing, inspiring and educating people, spending the majority of her esthetics career in the spa industry. When the pandemic emerged, she used her time to become a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fit instructor.
She joined the Body Mechanix Massage team as Front Desk Support in February of 2023. Sandy decided to embark on her next journey and has completed the Great Bay Community College Massage Therapy Program.

Focusing on areas of the body that are overused and stressed from repetitive and often aggressive movements.
Relaxation:
Swedish massage therapy is the modality that comes to mind when most people think about massage. As the best-known type of bodywork performed today, one of the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body. This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. Swedish massage therapy goes beyond relaxation. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.

Massage therapy includes the use of Cupping, Kinesiology RockTape, and RockBlade therapy, which will be determined by your therapist as part of your treatment plan.
