Alicia grew up in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom and was raised in a loving family business. She left the Kingdom in 2000 for Boston where she earned her undergraduate degree in public relations and communications at Simmons College. After several years of city life, she moved to the seacoast to pursue her Master’s degree in education at UNH.
She spent 15 years in education, many of those at Dover Middle School but stepped away from teaching to raise her children: Poppy, Romy, and Thatcher.
She is thrilled to incorporate her roots, education, and passions here at Body Mechanix, balancing out her love of the seacoast community and the health, communication, and education fields.
When she’s not holding down the fort at Body Mechanix Massage, you may catch her with Amanda and their beautifully blended bunch of five kiddos out and about. In her limited free time you’ll catch her out walking, playing the piano, writing, spending time at the beach, skiing, or leisurely biking behind her blended bunch. She enjoys a good road trip and loves visiting her family back in Vermont.
Alicia will often be the one on the other end of the phone and will be the first to greet you before your massage therapy session at Body Mechanix Massage.
